Meek Mill responded to Drake’s latest new single, “Summer Sixteen,” which the Canadian rapper dropped late Saturday. In a new post on Instagram, Nicki Minaj’s boyfriend reportedly suggested that Drake’s alleged ghostwriter, Quentin Miller, leaked the lyrics of the latest track to him.
Drake released “Summer Sixteen,” the first single from his upcoming album “Views From the 6,” during his OVO Sound Radio show on Apple’s Beats 1. During the show, Drake revealed that his much-awaited album will be released in April.

Meanwhile, Mill has again taken potshots at his rival Drake. Just as Drake released his latest single, the Philadelphia rapper also dropped the second installment of his “4/4” mixtape during Saturday’s stream of OVO Sound Radio.
In the final track of the new “4/4 Part 2” EP, titled “War Pain,” Mill slammed Drake with the lyrics: “See an OVO chain, probably take that s—,” and adding, “You ain’t write it n—- we caught ya/ Can’t erase that s—/ And you claiming you Hov, now why you state that s—?”
However, Drake also did not fall short of throwing shade at Minaj’s boyfriend. In “Summer Sixteen,” Drake hinted that he checked into the same hotel as Mill when he dropped the diss track “Back to Back,” according to reports.
“I’m just a sicko, a real sicko when you get to know me, n—- / I let the diss record drop, you were staying right below me, n—- / We must have played it 100 times, you was going to bed / Why would I put on a vest? I expect you to aim for the head.”
Mill also made some reference to Drake staying at the same hotel when their feud was at its peak.
“Location: Toronto. Status: five-star hotel – Four Seasons. Them chumps right upstairs; they know not to come down here and play with no real n——. Mood: I’m still up counting $500,000 cash, Nicki in the bedroom asleep. Life is good,” the lyrics of “War Pain” read.
The closeness of Mill’s and Drake’s latest song releases has also reportedly given rise to speculation that the two were aware of each other’s plans of dropping their respective tracks.
